What an In-Home Visit Looks Like Here

For a Churchill family, we can visit the child at home or meet at a park, another community setting, or school if that place suits the child. The goal is to learn how movement, play, or a daily routine works where it actually happens. A caregiver can stay involved and explain what a typical day looks like. We may notice strengths that are easy to miss when a child is asked to do an unfamiliar task somewhere else.

A free 15-minute call lets you describe the activity that prompted your question. The initial evaluation, if you choose it, lasts 60 to 90 minutes. We look at the whole child and may consider reflex patterns when clinically appropriate, rather than offering one answer for every difficulty. Therapy sessions happen in familiar places, with families included so the conversation continues beyond the visit.

Ages and Concerns

PEAK supports Churchill children from birth to 18. Parents of babies may ask about reaching and early movement; families with school-age children might bring up sensory reactions or joining play; teens may have their own priorities for daily life. We do not require a diagnosis to hear any of those questions. We consider the child’s interests and the family’s routines before deciding what an evaluation should include.
